Why Bring Your PRM Into Teams?

Many partner teams, and most of the enterprise vendors they sell with, run their day in Microsoft Teams. Every time someone has to leave Teams to check a dashboard, a partner waits a little longer for an answer.

CinnaLab.io now meets those teams where they work. Partner activity lands in the channel your team already watches, with a direct link back to the record in CinnaLab.io when someone needs the detail.

Channel Alerts: What Arrives in Teams

Choose which categories post to your channel. Each one can be switched on or off:

Deals — new deals, stage changes, wins, deals gone stale.

Leads — registered, accepted, declined, converted.

Partners — partners at risk, partners gone dark, onboarding.

Documents & e-signature — document and signature updates.

Certifications & training — certification and training updates.

Partner messages — new messages from your partners.

Every alert is a Teams Adaptive Card with the key facts and an Open in CinnaLab button.

Partners Can Connect Their Own Channel

The integration works on both sides of the relationship. Partners connect a Teams channel of their own from Portal Settings → Integrations, and their CinnaLab updates — deals, leads, payouts and messages from their vendor — arrive in their Teams too.

Your reseller's sales team sees what changed on their deals without logging into one more portal.

How to Connect a Teams Channel

1. In Teams, open the channel, click ••• next to its name and choose Workflows. 2. Pick the "Send webhook alerts to a channel" template, name it CinnaLab and add the workflow. Copy the link Teams gives you. 3. In CinnaLab.io, open Settings → Integrations → Communications → Microsoft Teams and paste the link. 4. Click Connect. CinnaLab sends a test card first and only activates the connection once it arrives.

Setup takes a few minutes and needs no developer and no admin consent screens. CinnaLab only accepts Microsoft webhook addresses.

The CinnaLab App for Teams

The CinnaLab app adds a conversation on top of the alerts.

Ask questions — @mention CinnaLab in a channel, or chat with it one to one, and ask about your partners, deals, leads and programs. Answers come from the same assistant as the CinnaLab.io web app.

Act on leads — when a partner registers a lead, the card in Teams has Accept and Decline buttons. The decision is made by the person who clicked, the card updates to show who decided, and accepting can create the deal in CinnaLab.io.

Same permissions as the web — each person links their Teams account to their own CinnaLab user, once, with a one-time link that expires after ten minutes. From then on the app answers and acts as that user: a partner only sees their own data, and read-only users cannot use the assistant or decide on leads.

Personal alerts for owners — when a deal or lead changes, its owner gets a 1:1 message from the app in Teams. On the partner side, a partner's owner only hears about their own deals and leads. Typing "stop alerts" in the chat turns these messages off; "start alerts" turns them back on.

No duplicate alerts — when the app is installed in a channel that also uses a Workflows connection, lead alerts are posted once, by the app.

Installing it: a workspace admin downloads the app package from Settings → Integrations → Microsoft Teams, and your Microsoft Teams admin uploads it as a custom app.

Yes. Each Teams user links their own CinnaLab account, and the app answers and acts as that user. Partners only see their own data, and read-only users cannot use the assistant or accept leads.

Not for channel alerts: anyone who can add a Workflow to the channel can create the link. The CinnaLab app for Teams is installed by your Microsoft Teams admin from the app package in CinnaLab Settings.

Channel alerts and the CinnaLab app for Teams are included in every paid plan: Starter, Growth and Scale. They are not included in the Freemium plan.
