Connect your AI assistant to CinnaLab

The CinnaLab MCP connector lets Claude, ChatGPT, Grok and other AI assistants that support the Model Context Protocol search the CinnaLab Vendor & Partner Directory and, on a paid plan, work with your own partner program: look up partners, leads and deals, prepare partner meetings and, if you allow it, create and update leads and deals.

Connector URL: https://mcp.cinnalab.io/mcp

What the connector does

  • A CinnaLab account is required. When you connect, you sign in to CinnaLab, or create a free account on the same screen, and approve the permissions. There is no anonymous access.
  • Your workspace only. Requests about partners, leads and deals are scoped to the CinnaLab workspace you approved. The AI never sees another company's data.
  • Company-level directory data. Directory results show company profiles only: no contact names, emails or phone numbers.
  • Read-only by default. Create and update tools appear only if you tick the write permission when you connect.
  • You stay in control. Every tool call is recorded in your audit log, and you can disconnect an app at any time under Settings → AI Connectors.
  • Short-lived access. Sign-in uses OAuth 2.1 with PKCE. Access tokens expire after one hour and refresh automatically while the connection is active.

What each plan includes

PlanYour AI assistant can
FreeSearch the Vendor & Partner Directory (50 searches per month) and request introductions (3 per month). The count resets on the 1st of each month. When a limit is reached, your assistant tells you and shows the upgrade link.

How to connect

In every app below, the CinnaLab sign-in screen opens when you connect. No account yet? Choose Create a free account on that screen; you come straight back to approve the connection.

Claude

  1. In Claude (web or desktop), open Settings → Connectors and choose Add custom connector. On Team and Enterprise plans an owner may need to add it for the organization first.
  2. Name it CinnaLab and paste https://mcp.cinnalab.io/mcp.
  3. Click Connect, sign in to CinnaLab (or create a free account), choose the permissions and approve.
  4. In a chat, turn the CinnaLab connector on from the tools menu and ask your question.

ChatGPT

  1. In ChatGPT, open Settings → Apps → Advanced settings and turn on Developer mode (on Business, Enterprise and Edu workspaces an admin may need to allow it).
  2. Choose Create, name the app CinnaLab, paste https://mcp.cinnalab.io/mcp and select OAuth as the authentication.
  3. Sign in to CinnaLab (or create a free account) when asked, choose the permissions and approve.
  4. In a chat, add the CinnaLab app from the tools menu and ask your question.

Use with Grok

  1. Go to grok.com/connectors and choose New Connector → Custom.
  2. Paste https://mcp.cinnalab.io/mcp and complete the CinnaLab sign-in.

Cursor, VS Code and other MCP apps

Apps that do not support sign-in can use a personal access token for your programme data (paid plans). In CinnaLab, go to Settings → AI Connectors (MCP), click Create Token, pick the permissions and copy the token (it is shown once). Then add https://mcp.cinnalab.io/mcp to your app with the headerAuthorization: Bearer <token>. Only workspace owners and admins can create tokens. The directory tools are available through the sign-in connection.

Example prompts

Directory (every plan)

  • “Find HubSpot implementation partners in Germany that work with healthcare companies.”
  • “Which vendors in the CinnaLab directory offer partner relationship management for SaaS companies?”
  • “Show me the full profile of the second result, then ask them for an introduction.”

Your partner program (paid plans)

  • “Which deals are in negotiation, and which of them have a close date in the past?”
  • “Prepare my meeting with Bluefin Systems tomorrow: their pipeline, wins this quarter and three talking points.”
  • “Show me partners that registered no lead in the last 60 days, sorted by won value.”
  • “Summarise last month for my partner program in a short table.”
  • “Create a lead for Halcyon Freight from partner Cobalt Consulting, contact Jane Doe.”
  • “Move the Kelmscott Ltd deal to proposal.”

Privacy, security and support

  • The connector returns programme data only from the workspace you approved, within the permissions you granted.
  • Directory results are company-level only. Companies that opted out of the directory never appear, and companies that have not claimed their profile are shown without a logo.
  • An introduction request is a pending request inside CinnaLab. The company decides whether to accept it; no email is sent on your behalf.
  • Tokens are stored hashed. Disconnecting an app under Settings → AI Connectors revokes its access immediately.
  • What your AI app does with the answers is governed by that app's own terms and privacy policy.
  • Read the Privacy Policy and the Terms & Conditions.
